Perpetuum: A Stop Frame Animated Artwork by Adam Letch

Perpetuum is a stop frame animated artwork by Cape Town photographer and artist Adam Letch.

Adam says:

“This is an edited version of my stop frame animated art work titled Perpetuum. It explores ideas related to: monotony, repetitiveness, tedium and the relentless nature of attempts to keep up with the pass of contemporary life. It was shot with a digital stills camera over a period of 3 months, mounted on my kitchen wall, and aimed at the sink area. There are approximately 5000 frames, running at 25 frames per second, about 6 minutes of footage is looped, and plays uninterrupted for ever and ever and ever.”
